Healthy Food Everyday

Heathcote Valley Preschool provides healthy meals for the children to keep them nourished and energised. Our chef prepares healthy snacks and fresh fruit for morning, afternoon and late snack times, as well as hot meals and homemade bread for lunch.

Social Occassions

Meal times are important social occasions where children and teachers share in conversation, talk about new ideas and reflect on their day.

Encouraging Independence

We encourage independence. Tamariki are supported to serve themselves, use their own utensils, pour their own drinks and clear the table as required.

Special Requirements

We are more than happy to facilitate special dietary requirements, on an individual basis, for children with specific allergies or medical problems.
